Emily is a Research Officer with the Mental Health Systems and Services research stream within the Queensland Centre for Mental Health Research’s Policy and Epidemiology Group.

Emily completed her Honours degree in Psychology at the Queensland University of Technology. She has previously worked at the Queensland Brain Institute, where she investigated racial bias in empathic neural responses. She has also worked in QCMHR’s Social Inclusion and Recovery, where her main project investigated the reliability and acceptability of a tool designed to facilitate mental health disclosure in the workplace. Her current work investigates the role of mental health carers in Australia and the likely impacts of future reforms in mental health.
